Lassi Noponen

Partner, VD

VD för Loudspring sedan första maj 2018. Sedan 2010 till och med 2018 ordförande i styrelsen. Lassi var tidigare styrelseledamot och även styrelseordförande i börsnoterade kontraktstillverkaren Incap. Han startade och var VD för Proventia Group, en av de första fonderna inriktade på cleantech, mellan 2000–2006. Han har även varit ansvarig för M&A på Evli Corporate Finance Oy 1999–2000, och haft ett antal managementbefattningar på Neste Corporation. Lassi har en Master of Law från Åbo University och M.Sc. (Mgmt) från London Business School.

Timo Linnainmaa

Partner

Medgrundare till Loudspring och arbetande i cleantech-sektorn sedan 2002, både som rådgivare och investerare. Timo var VD för Loudspring mellan 2005–2010. Tidigare var han avdelningsansvarig vid Helsingfors Tekniska Universitet mellan 2002–2005. Timo har en M.Sc. Technology.

Joshua B. Kirkman

Communications Director

Joshua Burguete-Kirkman is Loudspring’s Communications Director. Previously, he managed communications for a large recycling and waste management social enterprise in Australia, and has also dabbled in entrepreneurship himself, winning the prestigious Venture Cup (South, Environment Business) award in 2014.

Joshua has been responsible for Loudspring’s aggressive increase in communications over the past year and a half, seeing the company launch its ‘Cleantech and Coffee’ web series on YouTube and also hosting a number of ‘Sexy Truth’ events in Helsinki and Stockholm.

Joshua is originally from Australia, but now resides in Lund, Sweden. He is an ocean-lover, so when he isn’t communicating about Loudspring he is chasing waves and surfing around the Nordics. By education, Joshua has a Graduate Certificate in Commerce and a Bachelors in International Relations and French.

Antonio Gallizio

Chief Investment Officer

Antonio Gallizio is Loudspring’s Chief Investment Officer. Previously, he was working with the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) as a startup advisor, as well as an investment advisor for family offices in Los Angeles. He has an M&A background with GEREJE Corporate Finance in Singapore, and Impact Investing with Heart Capital in Cape Town, South Africa. By education, Antonio is a BSBA from Northeastern University in Boston, and is also a trained chef, having worked in South America for Chef Francis Mallmann.

Thomas Bengtsson

Styrelseordförande

Thomas Bengtsson has been a member of the board since 2015. Thomas has a strong belief in the transition to a low carbon and more sustainable economy through technological development. His own company AB Pelarsalen produces electricity from wind-power. Thomas has a broad venture-capital knowledge and has as a senior advisor to the Swedish Ministry of Enterprise established several investment-companies and programmes to support early stage investments. Thomas was until 2015, for four years, the vice chairman of the board of Industrifonden and has also served as a member of the board of Almi and been chairman of the board of Inlandsinnovation AB. Previously Thomas has worked internationally as an expert for the European Commission in Brussels. M.Sc Economics from University of Lund, executive education in Corporate finance from IFL, Stockholm School of Economics.

After a decade of service as the CEO of VARMA Mutual Pension Insurance Company Matti Vuoria retired in 2014. He is currently Chairman of the Board at YIT Oyj. His previous board positions include Stora Enso Oyj, Wartsilä Oyj, Sampo Oyj, Orion Oyj and Danisco (Denmark) as well as Nordic Investment Bank. He was the full-time Chairman of Fortum Oyj for five years during 1998-2003. Matti Vuoria is a member of the Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.

James Penney

James Penney is the Chairman of London based Darwin Property Investment Management Limited and chairs the Investment Committee. In 2015 Darwin Property Investment Management Limited was named ‘Alternative Investment Manager of the Year’ at European Pension Awards and ‘Alternatives Manager of the Year’ by LAPF Investment Awards. James Penney is also the owner and MD of Darwin Consulting. Prior to founding Darwin Consulting, James Penney had an academic career including undergraduate and doctoral studies at Trinity College, Cambridge, as Principal Lecturer at Westminster College, Oxford and as a Sloan Fellow at London Business School from which he has a M.Sc. in Management Studies.
