Loudspring has acquired a majority stake in Eagle Filters.
We are pleased to have just announced an additional investment into ResQ Club, which will be the start of a new funding round that we are leading. ResQ continues to excite us every day with their mission and progress. As they continue to hit key milestones we will continue to support their growth. This investment is in line with our updated strategy, and is part of an increasing focus on our portfolio and consolidation of our holdings.
It has been a privilege to witness first hand the last twelve months of the Cleantech Invest / Loudspring story.
2017 has been a year of positive transition for us at Loudspring. Looking back on the year that was, it really is remarkable how much the team and our portfolio companies have been able to get done, and to such a high standard too. I think it is important to reflect on progress from time-to-time and savor some of the victories as well as better understand some of the defeats.
There must be a marriage between future technologies and current marketability.
We now go from being an investor-accelerator into being a company saving natural resources through maximizing growth. Loudpsring’s holdings will vary from (the current) minority venture holdings to majority holdings forming the core of our group’s operations in the future. This means that instead of always seeking an exit for a portfolio company, we will also aim to consolidate selected companies into our group. The end result will be some majority ownerships or even wholly-owned business units.
