The recent Slush event in Helsinki gathered a record attendance of 15000 participants. From around one thousand startups applying, one hundred got the opportunity to pitch at the Slush 100 competition. It is not our habit to report the outcomes of these types of events as news but out of these companies, Plugsurfing stayed on through the eliminating rounds and ended up among the top four as Caremonkey from Australia was woted best pitching company. This gave Plugsurfing the opportunity to present onstage in front of 5,000 people. Plugsurfing makes car charging easy through its app, that lets you find charging stations and charge your car, currently accessing 16 000 charging points throughout Europe.
